The formal partnership was conceived following the success of Ixonos and
Brightcove's collaboration on the AJ+ app for Al Jazeera, which won two

Mobile App), and was nominated for the prestigious World's
Best-Designed™ digital news product award from The Society for News
Design (SND). Ixonos was responsible for the user experience and visual
design while Brightcove was behind the video player and platform
selected by Al Jazeera worldwide.
