Jeff Ray brings a decades-long track record of technology leadership and accomplishments as a CEO and senior executive. He has excelled in executive leadership roles at multiple enterprise technology companies of scale, including Ellucian, Ventyx (acquired by ABB), DS SolidWorks, Progress Software, Compuware, and IBM. Jeff has demonstrated an ability to enhance go-to-market strategies, scale enterprises, and expand business opportunities at global technology companies. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University.
Robert NoreckEVP & CFO
Robert Noreck has more than 20 years of financial experience in a wide range of of technology and software companies. He joined Brightcove in 2011. Most recently, Mr. Noreck held positions at other Boston-based companies such as Fidelity Investments, BostonCoach, and City Year. He received his BS degree with a concentration in Finance from Binghamton University and holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College.
Sara Larsen joins Brightcove from Dassault Systèmes, where she most recently served as Vice President, Americas Marketing and Communications. In that role she was responsible for go-to- market activities in the Americas across three sales channels and twelve industry verticals that represent one of the company’s largest markets. Earlier in her career, Larsen held various marketing leadership roles at SAP Americas, including running SAP’s digital marketing initiatives, and at IBM, where she led marketing for IBM’s channels business. Larsen is a graduate of Truman State University and Syracuse University.
Charles ChuChief Product Officer
Charles Chu manages the product management, engineering, and operations functions at Brightcove, ensuring alignment of all teams that design, develop, and operate the company’s cloud-based products. He is a seasoned, hands-on executive with a proven track record of combining product innovation, business acumen, and streamlined, complex cloud service implementation for large-scale, global businesses.
Previously Charles served as Head of R&D at PTC, leading the $1.3Bil company’s global engineering organization. Prior to joining PTC, he spent more than 14 years at IBM in a variety of senior leadership roles in Product Management, Engineering and Sales. He is a graduate of George Washington University with a double major in International Business and Finance.
David PlotkinChief Legal Officer
David is Brightcove's Chief Legal Officer. He manages the company's global legal affairs, as well as its governance, compliance, and privacy programs. David also handles the executive management of Brightcove’s Support and Customer Success organizations and leads a number of important cross-company initiatives.
David joined Brightcove in 2007 as the company's VP of Business and Legal Affairs. In addition to leading our commercial legal dealings, he was also responsible for negotiating many of the company's significant business relationships. Prior to his current role, David held the title of General Counsel and Global Privacy Officer.
Before joining Brightcove, David was a partner in the Media & IP practice of Boston law firm Prince Lobel. Before that, he was an associate at Hill & Barlow, also located in Boston. Prior to his tenure in private practice, David was a law clerk for a federal district judge in Connecticut.
David received his JD from Northeastern University School of Law and his BA in Economics from The George Washington University.
Anil JainEVP, Strategic Alliances & Development
A twenty year veteran of the technology industry, Anil joined Brightcove in 2014 as part of the company's acquisition of Unicorn Media, Inc. As executive vice president and general manager for Media, Anil leads Brightcove's Media Business Unit and is responsible for the overall go-to-market strategy, media product portfolio and the delivery of innovative solutions to Brightcove's broadcaster, publisher, OTT and Internet Media customers around the world.
Immediately prior to Brightcove, Anil was the SVP Business & Corporate Development for Unicorn Media, and led the company's sale to Brightcove. Throughout his career, Anil has been deeply engaged in developing new products and businesses, holding leadership roles at the intersection of innovation and entrepreneurship. He has worked in numerous global markets with organizations at all stages of growth -- from nascent startups to public enterprises.
Anil was the founder and CEO of Brightmonk Innovation, a venture design and new product development firm that specializes in the development of startups from concept through commercialization. Anil also co-founded LOT2 Labs, a venture incubator based in Tempe, Arizona and previously served as the founding Vice President of Technology Ventures for AZTE, the firm responsible for managing and commercializing the intellectual property emerging from Arizona State University. A technophile at heart, Anil holds two Master of Science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) in Technology & Policy and Materials Science & Engineering. He completed his B.S. in Ceramic Engineering with Honors and Distinction from Alfred University.
Katie KulikoskiChief People Officer
As Chief People Officer, Katie is responsible for leading the talent strategy for Brightcove. Prior to joining the team in 2014, Katie held HR roles in companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 100, but has maintained a strong bias for innovative technology companies for almost two decades. She is passionate about developing our people and providing a best in class career experience for our world class team. Katie earned her B.A. in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, was one of the first classes to sit for and obtain a Global Professional in HR (GPHR) Certification, and has been a longstanding member of NEHRA, SHRM and multiple HR Leadership Roundtables.
Mark BlairSVP, International
Since 2010, Mark has held a steady stream of leadership positions throughout Brightcove’s many business regions. In his current role as SVP, International, Mark manages all executive responsibilities for Brightcove’s EMEA, Asia, and ANZ divisions. Before that, Mark led our efforts in building partnerships with key media companies throughout the APAC region, growing Brightcove’s team in both Australia and New Zealand, and coordinating the onboarding of several significant customers, including Television New Zealand, Nine Entertainment Network, Network Ten, Yahoo!7, MediaWorks, and Fairfax. In 2016, Mark relocated to our London office, where he resides today.
Prior to joining Brightcove, Mark held several senior appointments, from field and headquarter-based roles in Asia Pacific, to sales, marketing, and product management in North America. His former companies include Allaire, Macromedia, and Adobe.
Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design from Sheffield Hallam University.
Kash RazzaghiSVP of Sales, DMBU Americas
Kash has spent over a decade helping consumers, brands, and businesses connect via digital media. He joined Brightcove’s sales organization in 2006 before leaving in 2012 to start and serve as CEO of Fancred, a digital media platform for sports fans.
He rejoined Brightcove in early 2016 and currently serves as VP of Sales for Digital Marketing and oversees the company’s Customer Success and North American expansion efforts.
Yoji IzakiCountry Manager, Japan & Korea
Yoji joined Brightcove with 20+ years of business experience, including 10+ years in digital media business.
He previously led a numbers of projects related to digital video for the Walt Disney Company (Japan) Ltd. as Executive Director of Business Development. At BB Cable Corporation (Softbank Group) and Broadmedia Corporation, Izaki served as General Manager, launching and managing the company's VOD service. At Booz & Company, he led management consulting for major media and technology companies. At Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture), he led IT consulting for enterprises.
He holds an M.B.A. from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and is a graduate of Kyoto University in Biology.
Mark StantonVice President, ANZ
Mark Stanton has more than 18 years’ experience in the web and digital space working with global market leaders. At Brightcove, Mark has helped build the company’s reputation among media and digital marketing companies in the region, deploying the catch-up streaming services for most major ANZ broadcasters and building out a client base that includes Fairfax, News Corp, Cricket Australia, Xero, Bunnings and Tourism Australia.
Prior to Brightcove, Mark played a pivotal role in building Gruden into one of Australia’s top independent digital agencies, working with Disney, Adobe and AMP as an analyst, architect, developer and team leader. He has also been a founding member of the Web Standards Group and the Sydney Video Technology Meetup.
Ben MorrellGeneral Manager, Asia
Ben has over 10 years' experience in the Broadcast and Digital space, working on projects with the world's largest and most well-known media companies. At Brightcove since 2014, Ben lead the technical sales and solution practice throughout Asia, bringing a large number of premium customers to the platform, including top tier PayTV, OTT, Broadcasters and Publishers. A frequent speaker on online video solutions for media and broadcast customers, Ben offers deep strategic and business insight on Live, VOD and OTT Workflows. Ben now leads the Asia region across two offices (in Singapore and Mumbai, India) in his role as General Manager.
Prior to Brightcove, Ben held various sales engineering, technical and solution roles at Grass Valley and the Nine Network Australia, where he focussed on sports and cutting edge broadcast technology.
Ben holds a MEng degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Warwick, UK.
